CIG Tours Cancellation Policy
3.1 Cancellations by the Customer:

For CIG Classic Tours, cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to the departure date will receive a full refund.

For CIG Prestige Tours, cancellations made at least 90 days prior to the departure date will receive a full refund.

For Yacht Bookings, cancellations must be made at least 120 days prior to the departure date to receive a full refund.
3.2 Cancellations by CIG Tours: In the rare event that CIG Tours cancels a tour, customers will receive a full refund. However, we are not liable for additional costs incurred by the customer, such as airfare.
3.3 No-Show Policy: Customers who fail to appear at the designated meeting location at the specified time will not be eligible for a refund.

Welcome to CIG Tours LLC (“CIG Tours”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By booking a tour or using any of our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

CIG Tours LLC
1. General Terms
1.1 CIG Tours LLC is a travel agency specializing in curated tours, primarily in the Galapagos Islands. We provide day tours, luxury yacht charters, and unique wildlife experiences.
1.2 These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, payments, cancellations, and other interactions between you (“the customer”, “participant”) and CIG Tours LLC.
1.3 By making a booking with us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these terms on behalf of yourself or others in your group.
1.4 Customers must comply with all applicable local laws and regulations during their participation in any CIG Tours services. CIG Tours is not responsible for any detentions, fines, or penalties incurred as a result of compliance with such laws.
1.5 CIG Tours reserves the right to interpret these terms and conditions. Any disputes or conflicts arising from these terms will be resolved at the sole discretion of CIG Tours LLC.
1.6 Customers must refrain from discriminatory behavior based on race, gender, religion, or any other protected characteristic towards CIG Tours staff or fellow participants. CIG Tours reserves the right to cancel a customer’s participation without refund and impose fines or legal actions for violations.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1 Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only after we receive your deposit or full payment.
2.2 Payments: Payment terms depend on the type of service booked. For some bookings, particularly yacht reservations, a deposit may be required. For most tours, full payment is necessary, especially during peak seasons.
2.3 Third-Party Bookings: If you have made a reservation through a third-party platform, please contact that platform for any cancellations or modifications. CIG Tours is not responsible for handling such requests.

3.4 Passport and Information Requirements: Certain tours may require customers to provide passports and personal information due to local laws. If a customer refuses to provide the necessary information, they may request a refund, provided the request is made at least 72 hours before departure. Refunds will not be granted for refusals made within 72 hours of the tour.
4. Changes to Itineraries
4.1 CIG Tours reserves the right to modify tour itineraries, schedules, or accommodations due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather, safety concerns, or governmental restrictions.
4.2 Significant changes will be communicated to the customer as soon as possible. No refunds will be provided for changes beyond our control.
5. Travel Insurance
5.1 CIG Tours strongly recommends that customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events.
5.2 If you wish to purchase AIG Premium insurance, please contact us at least 72 hours in advance, and we will arrange the insurance for you.
5.3 CIG Tours is not responsible for any costs incurred due to the lack of travel insurance.
6. Health and Safety
6.1 Customers are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit and capable of participating in their chosen activities. Certain tours may have specific health or age requirements, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
6.2 Customers must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions or special requirements at the time of booking.
6.3 Customers are responsible for any damage caused to facilities, including but not limited to yachts and diving equipment. The customer and their insurance company are liable for full compensation. CIG Tours is not responsible for covering such damages.
6.4 CIG Tours reserves the right to refuse service to any participant whose behavior poses a risk to themselves or others.
7. Liability and Disclaimer
7.1 CIG Tours acts as an agent for independent suppliers, including transportation providers, accommodations, and activity operators. We are not responsible for acts or omissions by these suppliers.
7.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, CIG Tours is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your participation in our tours.
7.3 Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless CIG Tours, its employees, and affiliates from any claims arising from their participation in our services.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All content, including text, images, and logos, on the CIG Tours website and promotional materials, are the property of CIG Tours LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws.
8.2 Certain tours may include photography or videography. CIG Tours and the participants shall have shared rights to the media unless customers notify CIG within 72 hours after the tour ends of specific media they wish to exclude from usage. CIG guarantees the media will only be used for promotional purposes.
9. B2B Terms
9.1 For business-to-business (B2B) bookings, the partner organization must adhere to CIG Tours’ pricing, payment schedules, and cancellation policies. All promotional material referencing CIG Tours must be approved in writing by CIG Tours. Non-compliance may result in the termination of the partnership.
9.2 Partners are responsible for providing accurate client information and ensuring compliance with local laws.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of [insert state, e.g., Indiana], United States. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in [insert jurisdiction].

Refund Process
Cancellations are processed promptly, and we aim to refund your original payment within 24 hours. However, depending on your payment method, it may take up to 14 business days for the refund to appear in your account

Weather or Operational Issues
If your tour is affected by weather or operational issues, you can choose to either receive a refund or have the tour rearranged for a later date.
